ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE 3RD WEEK OF THE 1ST QUARTER

Monday/Tuesday: Rip homework to shreds. Take a quiz on algebraic formulas. Compare English grammar to Finnish grammar. Mess up some Wikipedia entries. For homework,

1. Shave/scale part of your pet and write a haiku about how it feels.
2. Watch T.V. and tell your parent that it really is for class.

Wednesday/Thursday: Share your feelings. Completely cover the whiteboard with colored markers. Take a vocab quiz on made-up words. (The best definition for each gets credit.)

1. Learn about censorship by choosing a first name and using a black marker to remove 10 instances from your phonebook.

Friday: Watch a movie in class while holding down the fast-forward button and try to guess what characters are saying.

1. Read a cookbook and circle all of the passive verbs.
